World's Largest Surfboard
According to the plaque accompanying the surfboard, in 2015, on International Surfing Day, 66 former US Open of Surfing winners, Surfing Walk of Fame and Surfers Hall of Fame inductees, celebrities, and local Huntington Beach heroes rode a custom-built, 42-foot-long surfboard to break two Guinness World Records for: World's Largest Surfboard (42 long, 11 wide, 16 thick, 1,300 pounds), and "Most People Riding a Surfboard at Once." The 66 riders caught a wave for 12 seconds.
