Newellton, Louisiana - Giant Mailbox

Just outside the town of Newellton, in northeast Louisiana, there is a giant mailbox at the entrance to a farm. It stands about 20 feet tall, and is on a giant post. I'm not sure who owns the place, or what the story behind it is, but it's a neat landmark nonetheless. [Ernest C. Bowker, 03/19/2004]

The box is about five feet tall, eight feet deep, and four feet wide. The post is about eighteen inches square." April 2006 - Photo Added.
