The Mystery Spot, a Santa Cruz, CA institution of baffled gravity, still boasts 45 minute weekend waits as of mid-October. The gift shop is packed, and the guides, dressed as if they were national park rangers, have their hands full. Eastern Hemisphere engineers and their families seem to be in greatest abundance.
