A placard next to the ball states that it is now the world's "former largest ball of string." Still an incredible sight. Not every day you get to see a ball that size and well over 1,000 pounds. The surrounding town has several roadside signs proclaiming it, "Missouri's #1 Daycation Spot." No mention of the string ball in them, though.

Awesome stop! Wayne lives 150 miles from the park and is currently trying to figure out how to transport his giant horse here, which he showed us on a photo canvas. When asked where he will put it, Wayne says, over there with his back end towards the freeway, so people in the cars going by can take a picture of their boss! Don't leave without a photo by the World's Largest Invisible Ball of Twine!

Possibly those within "Daycation" range are too jaded to visit a giant ball of string -- after all, there's another one in nearby St. Joseph.
