Voodoo Merman, Marie Laveau House of Voodoo
New Orleans, Louisiana
Next to a kinky leather boutique, has exotic displays in the back room of voodoo as practiced in Haiti and Africa, along with brightly painted devil statues and the usual gris gris bags, roots and potions. In the very back of the shop, a mysterious withered lady sits in the shadows, ready to tell your fortune.
Spared by Hurricane Katrina due to a combination of luck and mojo.
