Try the Sip Shoppe across the street! It has an old fashion soda fountain.

The statue in front is currently adorned with flowers and other tributes to the recently deceased Eagle, Glenn Frey.

The original statue at the corner is not a depiction of Frey. The Frey statue, installed in later 2016 after his death, is nearby, along the sidewalk.

A great tribute to a great song by a great band. I've been a fan of the Eagles longer than I care to admit, so when we traveled across the U.S. this was a must-see in Arizona. It was night and the corner store was closed, but that didn't stop us from taking pictures. And Dar's Diner, directly across the street, was OPEN! Its website said it closed at 3:00 pm, but Dar said she had decided to stay open later on Fridays and Saturdays. If you're an Eagles fan, this is worth a detour to take pictures.

Standing on a Corner

From the Eagles song "Take it Easy," Winslow has a corner decorated to fit the lyrics. There's an actual flatbed Ford pickup, with a mannequin inside, and an adjacent gift shop has Route 66 memorabilia... and blares Eagles (and Don Henley, and Glenn Frey) music from a loudspeaker.

Stayed at "Earl's Motor Court" and saw the statue. Beautiful tribute....sketchy town.
