Pizza Hut was invented by Wichita State University students, and their first Hut has been moved onto the campus as a museum. The one-story brick structure looks nothing like its modern progeny, but it is definitely hut-like.

- Cherokee, North Carolina - Chief Muffler Man
The owner told me that when the Indian was moved to Native Brews Tap & Grill in 2021, the headdress was in bad shape. The Cherokee don't use the full headdress anyway, so she had a single feather installed when he was refurbished. That feather has since been damaged in a storm, but it will get replaced.
She told me that 50 years ago three Indian Chief statues were in town. One of the others ended up in Asheville, and she does not know where the other one went. And the food and beers are great.
